The fourth annual Queens of the Hardwood All-Star Game presented by XBOX 360 will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2008, at Cleveland High School at 1:00 p.m. If you are a basketball fan and you want to support a good cause, come on out! This year’s game will benefit Teen Parent Programs of the Goodwill Development Association in Seattle, a unique residential program helping pregnant and parenting teens from around the state complete their education and become self-sufficient individuals and good parents.

Once again, Queens of the Hardwood features an all-star lineup on a high school court one last time before these young ladies head off to college. This year's All-Stars include Amanda Juarez (Lake Washington HS), Sara Halasz (Lakes HS), Joey Brazen (Bellevue), Alex Sherk (Bellevue), Chene Cooper (Lakes HS), Patrice McKinnon (Newport HS), Bianca Cooper (Inglemoor HS) and Charmaine Barlow (Chief Sealth) to name a few.

This year’s Celebrity Coaches include Marvina Kemp and Kate Ridnour. Also, Seattle Storm Forward Sheryl Swoopes and Sonics Mascot Squatch are scheduled to appear, along with other celebrity guests. Other festivities include a $2.00 raffle for an XBOX 360 game system and autographed sports memorabilia, XBOX 360 kiosks for attendees to play games, XBOX 360 game giveaways, and a special halftime performance by a national recording artist.

Doors open at 12:00 p.m. and the game will start at 1:00 p.m. Admission is $8.00 for adults (18+), $5.00 for youth (5-17), and children under 5 are free. 100% of the funds raised by the raffle and sports memorabilia silent auction and a portion of general event revenue will benefit the Teen Parent Programs of the Goodwill Development Association in Seattle.
